This weeks meal plan was actually done on Friday, but in all the excitement of thinking of what to make for breakfast with the coconut milk I forgot to post.
Saturday 6th – Pizza night was requested by Mr CK so that is what we had.
Pizza one was new potatoes, some wonderful black olives from Todmorden market, shaved fennel and red pepper. Plus mozzarella, basil & a little tomato sauce.
Pizza 2 was red jalapenos, griddled spiced yellow courgette, red onion plus basil, cheese and tomato sauce.
Sunday 7th – Veggie roast dinner: Cauliflower and broccoli cheese, carrots, peas, green beans, roasted squash and roasted new potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and gravy.
Monday 8th – Fajitas: Quorn chicken bits, roasted pepper and red onion slices, corn, courgette and black bean salad, plu sour cream and guacamole.
Tuesday 9th – Tofu escalopes with salsa verde and either lentil salad or cous cous, depends on the weather.
Wednesday 10th – Brinner (breakfast as dinner) Home made veggie sausage, roasted tomatoes, fried egg, baked beans, mushrooms and home fries.
Thursday 11th – Smoked aubergine and tomato curry, dal and tomato rice.
Friday 12th – Fishless fish fingers with chips and beans
Craft night was good fun, I made some fairy lights that are on my dresser. I will take some pictures of them in situ once I have finished painting the dresser. For now here is how they look.
We’ve not been very productive around the house, mostly as we have been out and about. Did manage to get some stuff to the tip, it will be good to reclaim the part of the garden which is currently filled with bags of lime. 2 bags down, goodness knows how many more to go.
This week I am going to get on top of the housework so next weekend we will be able to crack on and get the study tiled. I also want to get back to more of a schedule through the day and set aside time to study or blog. I’m very easily distracted and can easily lose an hour if something catches my eye or I start reading about a subject on wiki.
Right now the sun is attempting to shine (yes really sunshine in Yorkshire) so I am going to get the washing out onthe line and see if the birds have cleaned the feeder of peanuts (again).
