meal planning

What is for tea? – meal plans

Meals plans have been a bit dull lately, mostly as I need things that were easy to chew, but my dental work is nearing completion and the pain is mostly gone. So this week I wanted to get a few things in that were a bit more interesting than mashed potatoes or pasta with sauce.

Feed me Sandi

Saturday –  Steak with gratin dauphinois, kale, mushrooms, asparagus and broccoli

Sunday – Roast beef, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, kale, carrots, peas and a red wine gravy.

Monday – Quiche with baked potato and a salad

Tuesday – Dinner for one and a dentist day, will see how I feel after the treatment.

Wednesday – Chicken bulgogi with soba noodles and stir fried vegetables

Thursday – Pork and bean chilli – with rice

Friday – Fish and chips with baked beans.

Not the most exciting week, but no sloppy food days. I’m looking forward most to the chicken bulgogi. I’ve only had the beef version before, so thought this would make a nice change.

In an effort to be healthier I’ll be whizzing up some smoothies for breakfast. I’m rarely hungry first thing, so find eating a proper breakfast difficult.

Hopefully after this weeks dentist visit I will be able to think more about getting back running, as this week is the last week she is doing anything that requires injections/drilling. Once that is over hopefully I will be pain free, although I have been told nothing crunchy for 3 months.

In other news, we now have netflix, bye bye life outside of watching tv 😀
